Always Check Your Design in Various Browsers
You would think I should know this by now, my word. I just checked my various sites and blogs in Internet Explorer(IE) and the design was all off. I'm using a very simple CSS design I got from Free Css Templates for my websites and I just tweaked the Sand Dollar template in Blogger for my blogs. Even still despite the simplicity of both I managed to disrupt the coding enough so they looked messed up in IE. I use Mozilla and sometimes Netscape on my PC and Safari on my husband's Mac so it didn't occur to me this site/blog update around to check them on IE...even though that's common sense as a ton of people still use IE. I think even the new version of it does not compare to Mozilla but that's just me.
So today I am at the library because I was having a hard time getting started on work at home. For some reason I can never upload pics to my Flickr stream using Mozilla at the library, just IE. After I did that I decided to check my sites/blogs, and was aghast. Took me over an hour to fix. The moral of the story: always check your design in different browsers, because they don't always render the code the same. Especially IE.
