Here are some of the nature pics I used for wall borders in our bedroom. I got them from some calendars I received for donating to this nature charity. They've been up for a couple of years, time to for a change. I will miss them though, I like these pics a lot.

Thrifting

Thrifting refers to the act of shopping at a thrift store, flea market, garage sale, or a shop of a charitable organization, usually with the intent of finding interesting items at a cheap price.

A larger philosophy permeates the act of thrifting which celebrates the recycling of formerly-owned items, finding new use and new love for vintage material goods which had been thrown out, and the thrill of imagining what the former life of the item was like.

Upcycled Bags w/Plastic Grocery Bag Handles

I'm making some bags out of old fabric samples and plastic grocery bags. I'm using the plastic for the handles and the fabric for the outside of the bag. Here is one almost done, just have to put in liner. The closure is Velcro. As each fabric swatch I got is different, each bag will have 2 different sides, which is total coolness. What kind of material do you think the liner should be? I'm thinking denim.
