I'm looking for essays from teenage mothers about their pregnancy experience and raising children. Some topics from your experience to consider include going back to school, dealing with sex and relationships afterward, interacting with parents and other family members, friendships with other teenagers, and handling work and/or social services issues. Please include your age at the time you gave birth and current age as well as the age of the father/other parent of child or children. Maximum essay length is 2000 words. You may submit more than one essay but only one essay will be selected per writer. Please include a bio up to 500 words.

Reprints: If you're sending a reprint please include the last place your essay was published. Also let us know if your essay is currently available in any other online venues or publications. We are paying you for the right to print your essay in this book. You retain full rights to your essay even if it is new and can reprint it elsewhere.
